The THS-100 is a compact digital temperature and humidity sensor with an RS485 Modbus-RTU output. The sensing element and transmitter electronics sit inside the probe itself, so a single 4-wire cable carries both power and data. It measures -40 to +80°C at ±0.3°C and 0-100% RH at ±3% RH, refreshing every 2 seconds, with long-term drift under 0.1°C and 1% RH per year.
One sensor covers every climate point on a site. The same electronics are available in seven probe housings, from a fast-response vented cap for indoor air to sealed, sintered-metal, and IP67 options for rain, dust, and washdown conditions. Pick the housing per measurement point; wiring, specs, and communication stay identical.

The vented cap gives the fastest response and suits dry indoor spaces. Sealed polymer, brass, and stainless housings keep working through rain, fog, and condensing humidity. Sintered metal filters protect the element in dusty barns, feed rooms, and grain stores, and the IP67 option handles washdown and harsh sites.

Installation
Mount the probe away from direct sunlight, heaters, and ventilation outlets, with free air movement around the filter cap. For outdoor ambient readings, place the probe in a radiation shield. In dusty or wet locations, choose the sintered or sealed housing rather than shielding a vented probe. Multiple sensors share one RS485 bus, each on its own Modbus address.
Connectivity and Integration
The RS485 Modbus-RTU output (9600 bps default, 8-N-1) connects directly to the Omni Genesis and Genesis Lite controllers and to any PLC or monitoring system that speaks Modbus. Readings arrive as simple scaled registers, and device address, baud rate, and calibration offsets are configurable over the same bus. This is the same modular approach as the rest of the Agrinovo range: one controller, any mix of sensors.
